WoW Item Upgrades
More commonly referred to as "upping"--are enchantments and items that can be put on weapons and armor pieces and increase their stats. These upgrades can increase the gauge of an item by a specified amount of points. Their costs scale according to their rarity.
A perfectly rolled version of this armor is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community due to its ability to limit weapon damage.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are a crucial component of the equipment crafting process. Upgrades can be used to increase the effectiveness of an item, make it stronger or provide an added benefit. They also affect the appearance of the item. While certain upgrades are universal, others have specific rules when applied to armor or weapons. Using the wrong type of upgrade can ruin an otherwise excellent weapon, and could even lead to it becoming unusable.
As a general rule it is possible to upgrade the equipment you have to the level of its top-level counterpart. You can only upgrade helms to the highest level. Weapons can be upgraded up to the level equivalent of a sword. This doesn't increase the weapon's ability to deal damage, but can reduce the value of trade.

Upgrades to a sword, for example will cost more flightstones compared to an upgrade of an cloth. Also, you can get discounts on the number of flightstones or crests needed to upgrade an item.

It may take different upgrades to get to this level, depending on the item. It is crucial to remember that any procedures that might be used to mount a disk shouldn't be performed during an upgrade. Enchantment allows you to change white or Common items to blue or rare ones. It can be done at Eleanor's enchantment shop in the Capital District. Universal upgrades

The Universal Upgrade is when "internal technologies" can give sentient creatures new capabilities that they are unlikely to acquire naturally. Implants and prostheses are two examples of internal technology. This kind of upgrade is different from medical internal technology that seeks to restore natural capabilities. It is the start of an era that will change civilizations fundamentally. The universal upgrade is a lengthy and complex process. The process can be divided into two types: complete success and partial failure.
This is similar to the ways that resort upgrades are implemented at Disney or Universal. In the case of WDW the reason for this is usually due to operational needs like availability of rooms or overbooking. In the case Universal, it could be to move guests to another resort that is open. Jewels
Jewels are upgrades that can be put into armor, weapons and other accessories. The reagents and gems that are used to make them can provide different stat bonuses and secondary effects. They are found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions and V Blood Carriers, and regular enemies. They can also be bought from a Master Craftsman for karma or gold. Jewels can also been made on a jewelry table with 1 gem and 5 of the same type of chemical reagents to create a gem of a higher or lower tier. This process is identical to upgrading a gemstone with a gemcrafting table.
Jewel levels are determined by the number of modifiers they possess. Jewels of higher tiers are more modifiers than lower-tier jewels. The primary effect of a gemstone is determined by the tier it is in, and the secondary effect is random; players can use luck potions to increase the chance of having better secondary effects.
Jewels can also be added to items with matching sockets, just like other upgrade components. A Garnet Jewel and a Garnet Stone both boost the strength of an item however, a Garnet Jewel also boosts a player's ability to strike with force. Jewels can be put in all weapon, armor and accessory slots. They can also be used with some exotic trinkets or lesser rarity trinkets that need slots.
Gems are a specific mechanic for DMs that allows items to feel special to their owners. Jewels offer a variety upgrade options that allow players to personalize and find the best combination for them. They can even upgrade their existing equipment with new jewels if the original set of a particular kind isn't working anymore.
Requirements
The upgrade of items in WoW allows players to raise the level of their equipment, weapons, and trinkets from their current level of item using specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor resources. These upgrades increase the stats base of the item and some also come with special effects (such as Dolphin's Grace which allows players to feel like dolphins while swimming). Players can obtain these upgrades through any upgrader NPC or by salvaging them from items that contain them, with a variety of items dropping different upgrade components.
The process of upgrading may be a bit complex however, it's a simple process. First, the player picks the item they wish to upgrade, and then click on the Upgrade button. A window will appear showing the various upgrades that are available for that item. This window will display the upgrade level, any upgrade type bonus (such as Tech Points or Quality Chance) and the cost of the upgrade. The upgrade level will be displayed in the form of a bar that is located at the top of the screen. the bonus type for upgrades is displayed below it.
The upgrader will require the user bring the item to the upgrader, who will then explain how to upgrade the item. The player is then required to supply the correct currency and, if required additional materials. These requirements are determined by the item's level. Weapons have more strict requirements compared to armor.
In addition to the mandatory upgrade components, a lot of upgrade recipes also have an 'Acceptable Materials' list. This list includes the other upgrade components that can be used to upgrade an item. It also includes an indicator that tells you whether or not it is a guaranteed boost. This is important because the value of an upgrade may vary greatly depending on its "extras.' For example an item that is properly rolled could be worth more than the unupgraded version.
